Assignment #6

At the beginning the idea of the blogs was new and, no so good for me, the only idea of have to write a blog every week was a very stressful idea to me, now i like it i guess is a good way to participate in class, the only thing i still don't like to much is to have to comment in my class-mates'blogs...why well sometimes i don know what to say to their work. And as i said before this idea of writing of blogs is awesome \, I guess so much better than write a paper every week...lol, and definitely for me doesn't matter if somebody else read what i post here i still feel confident. my spectation from this English 102 course in the beginning was just to keep writing a lot of essays as i did in English 101, but well im feel ok with the blogs dynamic.

Assignment # 5

I choose this very romantic and special song because I think that is important to us stop for a minute in our busy daily routine, and think a bit about LOVE and illucions; and I guess all the things we have to deal with through the week, will be less stressful...and also because a sigh like the tears help our body to feel better, and because is cool be in love ;-)!!

Assignment #4 Criticism

Psychological criticism of the Katherine Anne Porter's short story "The Jilting of Granny Weatherall". for me this is just an interesting and perfect story where I can apply the Psychological Criticism, in part because of the very detail narration of the Granny Weatherall personality facts. In the Psychological Criticism we can find three different types to approach, in this specific case of Porter's story I could start and focus in the second approach of the psychological criticism which involves the psychological study of a of a particular artist. Most modern literature biographers employ psychology to understand their subject's motivation and behavior. Based on this theory is easy to understand the last moments or perhaps the whole life of Granny Weatherall. Inn my mind is a big question about why Granny Weatherall was focused even obsessed with Hapsy???????, well I really think that inside of Granny's weatherall subconsciousness was some kind of gilt about Hapsy's die. but is even more the yhings that the author tell about Granny Weatherall match in part perfectly with what we call ion the Psychological field as Dysthymia that in anther words means the unhappiness of the soul in her case due to the events happend through her life. There is also a shade of mental conditions in Granny's personality such as delucions and even temporarily dementia. well I will close my critics just saying that as literature masterpices help or inspire to the father of the psychology, also, now, psychology criticism is a very strong tool to analize literature.... all this is amazing.
